This ancient Roman marble bust has been sensitively conserved, with particular attention given to the precise restoration of the nose, executed with meticulous accuracy and deep respect for the original sculptor’s intent. Using reversible, conservation-grade materials, the reconstruction was carefully modelled to follow the original anatomical lines, surface texture, and classical proportions, seamlessly reintegrating the feature without disrupting the bust’s age-worn patina. The result preserves the sculpture’s historical integrity while restoring the calm dignity and harmony of its original Roman visage.

This very large ancient Greek krater has been carefully conserved to stabilise its structure and recover the visual coherence of its original form. Fragmentary areas were sensitively consolidated and losses discreetly reintegrated using reversible, conservation-grade materials, with restorations kept deliberately restrained to respect the vessel’s age and extensive painted decoration. The result preserves the power, scale, and narrative presence of the krater while maintaining its archaeological integrity and unmistakable ancient character.
