This ancient Roman marble bust has been sensitively conserved, with particular attention given to the precise restoration of the nose, executed with meticulous accuracy and deep respect for the original sculptor’s intent. Using reversible, conservation-grade materials, the reconstruction was carefully modelled to follow the original anatomical lines, surface texture, and classical proportions, seamlessly reintegrating the feature without disrupting the bust’s age-worn patina.
